Songs of a Century™ is a new podcast that will debut on Monday, August 31, 2026, featuring all-new performances of Jazz and Great American Songbook Standards in the public domain. Hosts Eric Baker and David Poncé will talk with leading musicians, educators and community influencers about Central Indiana's profound connections to the composers, recording studios, night clubs, concert halls, university programs and publishing companies that shaped The American Jazz Movement of the 20th Century.

Eric Baker is an Indianapolis-based Jazz, Pop and Blues vocalist, pianist and composer, and is a featured headliner at Feinstein's Cabaret at Hotel Carmichael, The Jazz Kitchen and other Central Indiana venues and events. Eric performs as a solo act and also in collaboration with many of the area's most promient Jazz musicians. He averages more than 200 paid engagements per year.
David Poncé is a career writer and a lifelong devotee to the history and untold backstories of songs considered Jazz and Great American Songbook Standards. David is a regularly-performing storyteller and vocalist at The Jazz Kitchen's Monday Night Jam Sessions, posting and moderating content to the Monday Jam Facebook page's nearly 2,000 followers.
